What’s Movotek Wireless POS Terminal MIL300?
The Wireless POS Terminal is primarily considered as a branch of the Telecommunication product. Why? Because it is working in the similar way as a normal cell phone, we can visualize the wireless pos terminal as a cell phone plus a pos receipt printer. The MIL300 GPRS POS Terminal equips an ARM 9 CPU, 16MB Memory, Li-Battery and a Fuji thermal printer. Comparing with other POS Terminals in the market, MIL300 adopts the mainstream components, and the Fuji thermal printer to guarantee the long-playing voucher printing. As one of the experienced pos terminal manufacturers, we make every part of MIL300 seamlessly meet the actual market demands.
What features do MIL300 have?
1) Ergonomic and user-friendly design
The ergonomic design makes sure that it can avoid damaging during collision; the backlit display can help user to operate the POS in dim environment; the POS casing is designed for different using environments such as handheld, wall mount and desktop. So, different point of sales (Retail Outlets) may place it on different places.
2) Quad-band GPRS Communication.
The Quad-band (850MHz / 900MHz / 1800MHz / 1900MHz) enables the POS Terminal to work on all the GSM networks all over the world.
MIL300 is a dual-sim POS Terminal, which enables the user to switch the network from one sim card to another sim card freely. The network switch will be controlled by the app, user can choose to switch the networks manually or automatically. This is really for the user who is located in a poor GSM/GPRS network area or whose solution needs dual-sim, e.g. USSD, VTU. Subject to the actual scenario, the POS can act as an all in one pos, it is not just an electronic point of sale, hardware pos or mobile pos, but POS carrying with multiple solutions. For example, it can customize the app to connect with different systems at the meantime, each systems may provide a specific service (Airtime, Utility, lotto etc.)
4) C language SDK for secondary development
Movotek is adopting the C language SDK as a base for secondary software development. Movotek has the experienced engineer team do SDK maintenance and software customization. Movotek also provides the one-stop service to our deemed customers, we have integrated the POS Terminal MIL300 to the MDS (Movotek Distribution System). That means if the customers who want to operate the airtime top up (PIN based) and Utilities Bill Payment in their markets, they can deploy the service to their market immediately. Movotek will be a faithful partner to provide the technical support as always, the customers can 100% concentrate on their marketing business.

Is Movotek a reliable POS Terminal supplier?
As a company with 10 years’ experience in the telecommunication field, Movotek can recognize its core competitiveness clearly. Movotek focuses on the Research and Development of product, after it completes the whole product solution development (the core parts), then outsources the production to the cooperated OEM companies. The POS Terminal are manufactured by the modem SMT machines and assembled by skilled workers under dust free environment. The POS Terminal has been proven reliable under the heavy use by the Retail outlets of China Mobile, State Grid Corporation of China. And it is also widely deployed in International market such as India, Zambia and Nigeria.
Besides the POS Terminal supplier, Movotek Innovations Limited is also a service provider. Nowadays, the service sector is becoming more and more important than POS hardware in Movotek’s whole business. During Movotek’s developing history, we deeply realize that customers not only require the pos hardware, but also the system service along with the pos. Now, Movotek is becoming one of the key players in the Prepaid Airtime / Utilities Electronic Distribution System. We have the capacity to provide the turn-key solution by integrating the Electronic Distribution System and the POS Terminal hardware.
How does the POS Terminal operate typically?
First of all, it needs to have a system hosting on the Internet, like what the MDS (Movotek Distribution System is doing now, MDS is hosting on Amazon, which is cloud computing server with global presence). By using the Cloud Computing Server to host the system, you may feel that the system is just located nearby, it provides the good network quality to access the system.
Second, when the system is ready, it is required to develop the customized app on the POS Terminal to integrate with the system properly. The POS Terminal can access to system via Internet (GPRS). Take the airtime top up (PIN Code Distribution) for example, all the PINs are stored on the system with encryption, when the subscriber want to get a PIN Voucher, the POS Terminal operator can send a request (the network operator name, amount, quantity etc.) to the system via the secure communication, then the system will response the PIN information to the POS Terminal with the same security channel (e.g. https). After getting the PIN information, the POS will decrypt it before printing on a voucher.
Due to the poor network quality in some areas, MDS (Movotek Distribution System) can provide both on-line and off-line options to guarantee that the transactions are being processed smoothly.
